Mason Jar American Flag

The 4th of July is one of my favorite times of years.  So this year I thought I’d make a couple different decor pieces for our home and show off our American spirit.  First on the list was this cute mason jar American flag centerpiece.  I just love how it turned and how great it looks on our table.  The best part, past how cute it is, was that it didn’t cost me a dime thanks to having everything I needed already around the house.  (Thank you wedding decor!)  Below I’ll show you how I created this cute 4th of July decor so that you to can create one for you home this 4th of July season!

Mason Jar Planter

Ever since our local Orscheln’s put out their green house with all their pots and plants, every-time we would go there I would see this bright blue mason jar looking planter and I would tell my hubby “I really want this.”  So a couple weeks ago he surprised me with the planter.  I just love how it gives a pop of color to our otherwise boring front porch.Read More »

C2 Chicken Adventures: DIY Brooder Box

Remotes Box

The other night I took another one of our wedding centerpieces and created this cute little box for our TV remotes in our bedroom.  It was a fairly simple project and I love having something to hold our TV remotes so we can find them and they don’t get lost in the hustle and bustle of the morning craziness.Read More »

Wooden Heart Door Hanger

While in the dollar spot at Target (love this store) one day, I found this cute wooden heart for $3. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to get it and spruce it up for our front door during February.  Over all this project cost me around $5.  Can’t beat that, for a cute door hanging that you can use for years to come!Read More »
